I have used these, and the similar-looking Tunze models, in my aquarium and have found one significant drawback: the entire pump must be removed to clean the grate. My aquarium suffers from bubble algae, and the bubble pieces get plastered to the outside grid. Unlike the old-style powerheads with a removable intake grid, that could be pulled off while the pump stayed in place, these newer models must be unplugged and hauled out just to get algae and detritus off the grid. Also, amazingly, I had a snail climb inside one of these (as there is not much blocking the front of the powerhead) and get killed by the propeller.
